Phuse makes one report for each service day, which runs from 4 AM to 4 AM. It's built within the hour after 4 AM, for each place with the point of sale.
What's in it
- Sales: net sales, discounts, refunds, GCT, service charge, sales undone, giveaways and walk-outs.
- Payments: by method and by where they came from, and tips.
- Cash: every drawer shift, with its count and any over or short.
- Tabs: payments on tabs, lines taken off, and tabs still open.
- Breakdowns by hour, item, menu and staff member.
Net sales match the food cost report for the same day.
Where to see it
- App: on the point of sale, tap the calendar at the top, then Today or Yesterday.
- Dashboard: the Point of sale tab, then End of day. Download a day, or up to three months, as CSV.
Signing off
- A manager checks the day and signs it off, with notes if needed. The figures are then kept as they were.
- Anything that changes later, like a refund or a late sale, shows as an amendment.
- Reopening a signed-off day needs a reason and a manager's approval.
Notifications and email
- Owners and managers get a notification when the report is ready.
- Each person can turn off these pushes in their notification settings, under Your businesses. That switch covers all your business notifications.
- For a short summary by email, turn on Email a summary of each day in the dashboard's point of sale settings. Then choose who gets it.
