Set up ordering, tax and tips

Under Manage, tap Ordering & tax.

Tax

• Turn on Charge GCT, set the Rate, and add your GCT registration number (printed on receipts). Turn it off if you're not registered.
• Choose whether Menu prices include GCT. If not, it's added on the bill.

Service charge and tips

• Add a service charge: a percentage of the items, before tax. Tax is charged on it too.
• Let guests add a tip, with Suggested tips. Tips go on top of the bill, with no tax on them.

When guests pay

For each kind of order (dine-in, counter, pickup and pre-orders), choose whether guests pay first. On: they pay in the app before the kitchen gets the order. Off: they pay at the end, at the counter or on pickup.

How you handle orders

• Kitchen board: staff accept each order, then mark it preparing, ready and served. Guests follow along.
• Accept orders automatically: for kitchens with their own system. Staff can still mark orders ready.
• Guests can cancel an order: until you accept it, until the kitchen starts preparing it, or for a few minutes after ordering. 0 means guests can't cancel in the app.
