Menus

Import a menu from a spreadsheet

  1. Help
  2. Businesses
  3. Menus

Fill in our template in Excel or Google Sheets and upload it to make a whole menu at once.

On the web dashboard

This is quicker than adding items one by one when you have a long menu or a bar list. It's on the dashboard on your computer.

  1. Open the Menus tab and choose Import from a spreadsheet.
  2. Choose Download the template and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. The second sheet explains each column and has an example.
  3. Fill in one row for each item, or for each size of an item. Keep the headings as they are.
  4. Save it as an Excel workbook (.xlsx) or a CSV file.
  5. Back on the dashboard, give the menu a name and choose the file.
  6. Check the list of what was found, then choose Create the menu.

The columns

ColumnWhat goes in it
SectionThe heading it goes under, like Starters or Drinks. Sections appear in the order they first come up.
NameThe item. If you already have a product with this name, that product is reused, photo and all.
DescriptionOptional. Only used for new products.
Size or optionOptional. For several sizes, use one row per size with the same section and name. Left empty, it's called Regular.
PriceNumbers only, like 650 or 650.50.
StockOptional. How many you have, for the bar till and stock counts.

The new menu starts turned off. Look it over in the menu editor, add photos, then turn it on.
