Open Discounts under Manage in the app, or the Discounts tab on the dashboard, and create a new discount.
Choose the kind
- Money or percentage off: a flat amount off each ticket, or a percentage.
- Buy some, get some free: for example, buy 2 get 1 means 3 tickets in the cart, pay for 2.
Choose what it's for
- One ticket: counts only that ticket.
- Every ticket: counts every ticket in the order, and the cheapest ones get the discount.
The rules
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Code | Customers enter it at checkout. Leave it empty and the discount applies automatically to every eligible order. |
| Starts / Ends | Every discount needs an end date. Empty start: now. |
| Uses in total / per person | Empty: no limit. Each order counts as one use, however many tickets are in it. |
| Priority | When several discounts apply, the higher number applies first. |
| Can combine | Off: it applies alone, and no other discount is added to the same order. |
| Turned on | Turn it off to stop it without deleting it. |
Can I change a discount after people have used it?
Its type and value are locked once it's been used. You can still change the code, dates, limits, and turn it on or off.
Can a discount be for one date only?
Yes. Add it from that date's Tickets for this date screen in the app.
